Retired Missionary Assistance
Project #71846
Avant has launched the retired missionary assistance fund to help the servants who served faithfully for so many years. Just as current missionaries occasionally need help, our retired missionaries are not very different. These faithful saints served most of their lives in a foreign context and when they return home, they often lose support as they are no longer serving in an overseas context. Retirement plans for many did not begin until the early 1990’s, so pension benefits are modest. This fund helps retired Avant missionaries pay for their rent, medical bills, or groceries. It is granted to them anonymously to help when times are tough, and money is low.
