Café Ministry in France
France is well known for its rich and diverse culture, history, and beauty. Millions of people travel to France each year to experience all that it has to offer. However, while France is rich in opportunity for exceptional experiences, French people are in desperate need of the gospel. According to Joshua Project, only 1.2% of the French population is evangelical. Despite the influence of Christianity on French culture in the past, many people today are moving toward secularism and have never had the opportunity to receive new life in Christ. Avant is working to change that.
Our team in France is committed to using their unique skills and gifts in culturally relevant ways to establish a healthy, reproducing, biblical church led by local believers. In light of this, they are opening a cafe as a way to connect with the community and share the gospel more broadly. Through decadent pastries and delicious coffee, seeds of the gospel will be planted, and relationships will be built where they can grow and multiply.
We are looking for 1-2 creative, humble, and outgoing people to join the team and work in the cafe as a barista, helping the pastry chef, and serving customers, as well as working with the team to establish the church that has been planted. We are offering this opportunity for mid-term (6 months- 2 years) or long-term workers.
