Mexico: Focused Discipleship
The Mexico Focused Discipleship project addresses this vital need by providing structured, relational discipleship and leadership training. Our goal is to strengthen the church—equipping leaders to disciple others, and grounding new believers in their faith. Without these supports, many leaders feel ill-equipped and isolated, while new believers face trials without the tools to stand firm.
This project centers on regional training events and small-group connections that establish clear pathways for discipleship. We will bring together pastors, tutors, and small-group leaders for hands-on training in how to walk alongside new believers, mentor future leaders, and multiply discipleship groups. Practical workshops, seminars, and shared experiences will be reinforced by follow-up connections to ensure participants are encouraged and held accountable as they put lessons into practice.
Funding will make it possible to gather leaders from rural areas by covering travel, lodging, meals, and training materials. Resources will be kept simple and affordable, but the heart of this project is not just producing materials—it is training people. This face-to-face encouragement and mentoring are essential for discipleship to take root in the Mexican context.
The short-term impact will be dozens of leaders trained and equipped to disciple with confidence, churches strengthened through intentional small groups, and new believers supported as they grow in their faith. Long-term, we envision a multiplying network of discipleship leaders across regions, a culture where believers consistently live out their faith, and enduring transformation in individuals, families, and churches. By investing in focused discipleship today, we are preparing a foundation for lasting gospel impact across Mexico.
