Arabic Christian Literature App

Christian literature remains heavily restricted throughout much of the Arab world due to a combination of government censorship, religious regulations, and logistical barriers. In many countries, importing or distributing Christian books is either illegal or subject to strict oversight. Online platforms such as Amazon often limit access to Christian materials in compliance with local laws.

Beyond these accessibility challenges, merely possessing Christian literature can pose a serious threat to personal safety. Yet, access to the Bible and discipleship resources remains essential for the spiritual growth and vitality of the underground church.

To address these challenges, Avant is partnering with a ministry on the ground to develop an Arabic language e-reader. This app will be a free resource offering Christian literature in the Arabic language and in a format that overcomes logistical and regulatory barriers. Books will only be available within the app and cannot be downloaded, protecting intellectual property and user security.

By God’s grace, the development and early maintenance of the app are already underway. Currently, the app features 12 titles, and we are on track for a soft launch in the Spring of 2025.

We are seeking to raise $71,500 to expand our library content and support a broad promotional campaign. These funds will help us reach more users and provide them with valuable, gospel-centered resources.
