Dakar, Senegal, is a thriving seacoast city that draws young professionals and students for business and education. They arrive from across the continent of Africa. Residing in this country that is 90% Muslim, most have not heard the truth of Jesus Christ.

These young professionals and students are in a phase of life where they are open to discussing life purpose, deep issues, and even questions of faith. In this busy city, there aren’t many places where these deep conversations can take place.

Avant is renovating a property into a tea garden where people can spend time in a relaxed setting that will invite relationship building and purposeful conversations of life and faith. Those frequenting the garden, called CuriosiTEA, can get coffee, tea and a light snack while enjoying conversation. The tea garden will have private places and settings for small groups. There will also be an area for larger groups where meetings, trainings and exercise classes can be held.

Through your investment, CuriosiTEA will become an inviting place where people can discover Jesus Christ and be discipled. As a small group of believers' forms, we pray that it will become the foundation for a new church plant in Dakar.
