Spain: Cuellar Church Parsonage
Cuéllar is a small town in the Castilla-Leon region of Spain. It is surrounded by twelve smaller towns, most of which have no evangelical presence. This area of Spain is known to be highly Catholic and resistant to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In Cuéllar, a small group of believers gather weekly to share the word and pray. They have not had a pastor for the past seven years and need a spiritual leader to help them grow and become a healthy church that can reproduce and reach the other nearby towns with the gospel.
The church is looking to renovate their parsonage so they can bring in a pastor to lead them. There is already a pastor from Argentina who is making plans to move to Cuéllar with his family this summer. The church would like to have the updates complete by then so they can welcome this family and bless them with a nice place to live.
Funds for this project will be used for new windows, ceiling insulation, a heating system, and fresh paint. Church members have committed to collecting half of the total budget needed for these renovations. They need help with the remaining half to complete these projects.
Your partnership in this project will be a blessing and encouragement to the believers in Cuéllar. By fixing up the parsonage to make it livable, the church will be able to bring on a pastor to help them grow and reach others in nearby towns with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
